On Tuesday, October 8th, and Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, the Minister of National Education, Teaching, Scientific Research, Training, and Professional Integration held a seminar in collaboration with the “Msomo na hazi” project to discuss the structuring and activation of the Vocational Training and Professional Integration Fund. The seminar aimed to establish the concrete framework and activation of the fund. It provided participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas, share suggestions, and contribute their expertise to make this fund a reality and a success.
Bacar Mvoulana, responsible for vocational training and professional integration, said: “This seminar is a crucial stage. We must lay the foundations for a strong, inclusive, and appropriate institutional and economic framework that aligns with the characteristics of our country.”
According to the minister, this seminar represents a unique opportunity and a turning point in the way we design vocational training and professional integration in our country. This funding fund is not merely an economic tool; it is a lever for development and a response to the issues of youth unemployment and underemployment, as well as a means to foster economic growth.
The Comoros Minister Bacar Mvoulana emphasized, “The success of this project depends on our ability to build together an inclusive and transparent governance model capable of meeting the expectations of different stakeholders and fostering skill development and real job opportunities in the Comoros.”
During the two-day seminar, participants evaluated the conditions and methods for structuring and activating the Vocational Training and Professional Integration Fund.
